This is a software that works from the command line and helps convert flash frames to JPG format images.
VeryDOC Flash to JPG Converter Command Line provides a way of integrating Flash frame to image JPG conversion to any application you may be developing. It can be called from other software application and will help you tackle the file format conversion transparently. The parameters to be used are “in” and “out”. The “in” parameter specifies the file path to the source flash based SWF. The “out” parameter will specify the output image file. This file will contain all the images generated. File names are automatically generated. For example, if the file name specified is xx.jpg then the images generated will have names starting with xx001.jpg, xx002.jpg and so on. The executable is named swf2img.exe.
This component also has other features like, creating images in a specified size, specifying capture interval between frames to be converted and hiding the progress dialog during conversion. When testing, you will be able to run it from the DOS command prompt. You then try out the features to see how they affect your application development. Your application then, in turn, calls this component for getting the conversion done. This tool is obviously not for any novice user but for developers, in fact, advanced user who need this kind of facilities. A simple and nice application for use with others, this is a good tool.
